The Pines’
superior location and the high quality of life enjoyed by our residents,
given the great advantages of our local community, have contributed substantially
to the desirability of our neighborhood for discerning home buyers. The
neighborhood itself features 70 building sites on 80 acres of land. We
have clustered the building sites together (each site is1/2-3/4 acre),
in such a way so as to maximize views and open space for all residents.
Almost every building site at the Pines at Lake Forest backs to open space,
woods or wetlands, and many sites feature “walk out” or “view
out” sites, which lend themselves to fantastic finished lower levels.
Walking trails and sidewalks throughout the larger neighborhood (which
includes the adjacent Lake Forest subdivision and Stonebridge directly
to the South) offer great opportunity for walkers and joggers. We have
worked very hard to maintain architecture, materials and colors which
blend in with the surrounding nature and promote a sense of peacefulness
and tranquility. The Pines neighborhood is serviced by Ann Arbor schools,
which are among the finest in the State as well as a number of private
schools. Trash, recycling and all underground utilities are provided by
Pittsfield Township, which also sports a property tax rate substantially
lower than the neighboring City of Ann Arbor. Our common areas and architectural
control will be governed by our Pines Community Association.
The amenities and advantages of the Ann Arbor area are to numerous too
list. The immediate community, within a ten minute drive, includes a half
dozen fine golf courses, including Lake Forest Golf Club, Stonebridge
and Travis Pointe, in very close proximity, Briarwood Mall and shopping
and restaurants, places of worship for all denominations, parks, private
and public, preschools and schools, public and private. Downtown Ann Arbor,
with its abundant shops, restaurants and night life is a seven minute
drive, the U of M football stadium and golf course is about five. Of course,
the presence of the University is a major influence on life in the Ann
Arbor area, with world class cultural events, performing and visual arts,
lectures by world famous speakers, symposia and continuing education for
adults with almost area of interest. In terms of public parks and nature
areas, Washtenaw County boasts the highest per capita area of parkland
in the State. In addition to the University itself, Ann Arbor is home
to major corporations, like Pfizer, as well as smaller firms, all engaged
in cutting edge research and technology. Our area has one of the highest
average levels of educational achievement in the Country. With the incredible
quality and diversity of opportunities for culture, education and recreation,
it is little wonder why our Pines neighborhood has attracted such a diverse
and interesting group of residents. Indeed, we believe that our neighborhood
and community is absolutely second-to-none, in its friendliness and welcoming
attitude. Whether you are coming for employment, to raise a family, retire
or just relocate to a place with an incredibly high standard of living,
we look forward to welcoming you home to our Pines neighborhood.
